Heinaus verses Bahamut (FFVIII)

[An hour-and-a-half has passed since the maleficent dragoness, Heinaus easily defeated Spyro and Cynder.  She is currently returning to Malefor's lair with the powers she stole from Spyro that remain imbedded in the crystal around her neck.  Heinaus' flight elevation is ten feet above the desert sands.  Suddenly without warning, something from above strikes the tyrannical dragoness on her back.  With a shriek, Heinaus plummets into the sands below, impacting with great force.  Seconds later, the fear dragoness begins picking herself up when a deep, commanding voice is heard in front of her.]
DEEP VOICE: I will not let you pass, witch!
[As the dust cleared and Heinaus manages to regain her stance, she notices a large navy blue dragon standing before her (the distance between them is at least ten feet).  The dragon's immensely large wings each had three hook-shaped barbs on top, with spikes streaming along below them.  He also had a medium-length neck, horns that swept and arched backwards, and had bizarrely unique protrusions on his shoulders.  But what surprised the infuriated dragoness was the consideration that this dragon was standing bi-pedal and the striking physique in his torso, arms, and legs possessed some anthromorphic characteristics.  In addition, his height is a few feet greater Heinaus'.  Heinaus' anger intensified as the blue dragon stared firmly at her.]
HEINAUS: (smugly) And who are you in thinking you can command me?!
NAVY BLUE DRAGON: (laughs defiantly) You foolishly arrogant whelp!  For you are speaking in the presence of Bahamut, the Dragon King!
[As he spoke, Bahamut's voice resonated with intense authority, which further intensified Heinaus' anger.]
HEINAUS: (shouting dryly) Well forgive me, your majesty, for not submitting to you!
[With a roar, Heinaus darts forward at Bahamut, swinging her tail spikes at him.  Bahamut blocks with his left wing, which deflects her tail spikes without a single tear or scratch.]
HEINAUS: (mentally) Impossible!
[Before she could react, Bahamut, using his large wings, launches himself forward as he sequentially delivers a firm blow into Heinaus' pectoral area with his right fist.  Then, Bahamut instantly kicks the dragoness on the head, which forces her body sideways onto the ground.  As he hovers at ten feet, Bahamut laughs at Heinaus' futile efforts as she slowly stands back up.]
BAHAMUT: Is that the best you've got, witch?
HEINAUS: (angerly) Hardly.
[Using her wings Heinaus launches herself up at Bahamut.  Then she lashes out at him with her razor sharp front claws, which are all evaded by the latter.  When she manages to strike Bahamut's pectoral area, she winces in pain while retracting her claws (on account to his diamond-hard armor covering it and many parts of his body, including the back of his wings).  Bahamut then swiftly executes a powerful knee strike to Heinaus' stomach area, which knocks the breath out of her.  Then after visciously swiping her pectoral area with his savage wing barbs, Bahamut immediately back-flips and swings his long, muscular tail directly on top of Heinaus, forcing her straight back down into the sands below.]
[As she gruntingly and painfully recovers her stance (her claw and scarred chest were still in pain), she growls fiercely at Bahamut while he ascends higher into the sky.  He has currently reached 600 feet above the ground.]
HEINAUS: (smugly) Fool!  You dare to flee from my might like a poor coward?!  And for what did you think you could possibly gain by confronting me?!
BAHAMUT: (laughs defiantly) Take a look here, Heinaus! (thrusts left claw forward, which holds the crystal containing Spyro's powers) In this prism, you have stolen something that was never rightfully yours in the first place!  And now I, Bahamut, shall honorably return this power back to its rightful owner, Spyro!
[As the Dragon King spoke, Heinaus gasped.  Then she mentally backtracks to where Bahamut impacted her with the knee strike.  She realized that Bahamut undoubtedly ripped the crystal from her neck as he struck her in the abdominal area.  This angered her to the breaking point as Bahamut continued speaking.]
BAHAMUT: And rest assured, he is the one destined to defeat your pathetic Master, Malefor, once and for all!
HEINAUS: You!  You shall not go unpunished for insulting my master! (prepares to ascend)
[With that, Heinaus launches herself straight up at Bahamut, her eyes filled with intense rage.  Simultaneously, as Bahamut continues to gradually increase his elevation, he glares fiercely at the approaching light mauve dragoness.]
BAHAMUT: (whispers) Then so be it. (roars irefully)
[Extending his neck forward, a bright green orb emanates from his mouth as he prepares to unleash his most powerful attack: Mega Flare.  By this time, Heinaus has reached halfway toward reaching Bahamut, intent on killing him.  Then Bahamut, fires the bright-green projectile at Heinaus, whose eye pupils shrank in horror microseconds before impact.  Then, upon impact, a gargantuan explosion erupts from where Heinaus was previously hovering, which was combined with a loud, piercing and agonizing cry from the dragoness.  Instantly, the force of the blast expelled a strong gust of wind in all directions, which formed a large cloud of dust and smoke.  When the dust settled moments later, there laid Heinaus' severely injured and comatose body from where it fell battered with intense bruises.  Her pectoral area also exposed three deep wounds from Bahamut's wing barbs.  Upon looking down upon her, the Dragon King sighs heavily.]
[He looked down at the crystal he was carrying in his left forepaw before adjusting his gaze in the direction from where Heinaus previously originated from.]
BAHAMUT: (mentally, with urgency) Do not worry, young Spyro.  I shall bring your powers back to you so that one day you and Cynder will both defeat Malefor together and put an end to his malicious reign of terror forever, just as destiny has foretold.
[With that, Bahamut spreadout his magnificent wings darted forward, intent on searching for the intrepid dragon couple, where ever they might be.]
This is something I personally imgained: a battle between the mighty Bahamut (Final Fantasy VIII) and the cruel, merciless dragoness Heinaus (from :iconcynder-and-spyro-fan:'s fancomic. Although I originally intended for Heinaus to die from Bahamut's Mega Flare, I utterly realized that I couldn't bring myself to doing it, dolorously.

Bahamut is owned by Square-Enix

Heinaus is owned by :iconcynder-and-spyro-fan:

Story by me.

Note to :iconcynder-and-spyro-fan:: Do you suppose this could possibly be added to your plot for the Legend of Spyro fan-comic you are progressing with?
