[9:33 a.m., the capital city of Haiti]
"Come on, hurry! We've got to rescue those trapped underneath this rubble before their oxygen supply runs out!" Shouted Ratchet as he, Terrador, and Ironhide held up an immense slab of a concrete wall. Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, and U.S. reserve troops entered the darkness of the collapsed building to search for any trapped survivors.
The human soldiers turned on their search lights, implanted on their helmets. Sparx's glow also provided light needed to see.
"Stay close," warned the beauteous black dragoness. "For one of you can get lost down here." As they progressed, a shout in Haitian language is heard in the darkness.
"It's coming from other there," Spyro exclaimed, using his acute hearing. "Come on!"
"Right behind ya!" called Sparx. They eventually found someone buried underneath a slab of concrete, still crying for help. Sparx positioned himself over the victim's upper torso, while the rest of the latter's body buried underneath rubble.
"Hey, over here!" called out Sparx, as Spyro and his mate, Cynder came up next to trapped victim. Seconds later, the dragon couple and Sparx were joined by the U.S. reserves, one of them included Lennox.
"How is he? Is he alright?" panted Lennox.
"Yes," replied Cynder, as she held her paw upon the victim's right hand. "But I'm afraid he may not last much longer. With the rest of his body buried, the cut-off blood circulation could kill him."
"You had best get help fast, Lennox," insisted Spyro, who held the other victim's hand. "Sparx, Cynder, and I will stay with him to comfort him."
"Okay! Gotcha!" urgently replied Lennox. He then raises his radio communicator to his mouth, as he and the other reserves go back to seek help. "Hey, base, we need assistance ASAP! We need you to bring in the big guns, now!" As the reserves exited, Cynder, still clinging to the victim's right hand, positioned herself until she sat right next to her purple mate. Spyro receptively enwrapped his tail lovingly with Cynder's.
"Don't worry," compassionately whispered the black dragoness to the whimpering victim, as she smiled. "You'll be alright. Help is on the way."
"Yes," Spyro sympathetically whispered, as he too smiled comfortingly. "We'll be right here with you until then. Everything's going to be okay." Though the victim statement could not be understood in language by the dragon couple, they did manage to understand that he was absolutely grateful for their rescue.
"Is it just me, or does it seem to be getting dustier by the minute?" Sparx thought to himself.
[30 minutes later]
The dragon couple rushed to their feet and pressed themselves against the rubble in which the victim was buried under, as they heard a loud crashing ahead. While this occurred Sprax remained hovering above the victim they were still comforting. It eventually got louder when quite suddenly; a beam of bright daylight came from where Spyro, Cynder, and Sparx had previously come from. Then all four visages of those present facially expressed joy as they saw Optimus Prime's glowing blue eyes looking onto them from the hole created.
"Are you alright?" The Autobot leader asked with concern.
"Yeah, we three are!" replied Sparx. "But unless you speed things up, this guy won't be!"
"Alright, young Sparx. We shall proceed immediately." Optimus then stands erect as he then gives orders. "Autobots, let's get to work at once." Throughout the past few hours, many Autobots, included a newly resurrected Jetfire, along with numerous dragons young and old progress with helping Spyro and Cynder, removing much debris from the collapsed building. Throughout many hours in excavating, they found and rescued more survivors, some of which are injured. They also found the bodies of those who fatally suffocated and briefly grieve and honor their losses. The total rescued was fifteen, including the one they first discovered.
[3:00 pm, in central Haiti]
"Okay, Chipodee, set them here" said Domon as he and his fellow Shuffle Alliance teammate, while piloting their respective Gundams, approached a small hill, carrying numerous crates of supplies. They managed to set them down gently with a sigh of relief.
"Phew!" exclaimed Chipodee, as he stretched out his arms. "These should be the last ones. Boy, it's a good thing we managed to get these crates of food, water and supplies over here without anyone else noticing."
"Yeah, it sure is," agreed Domon, as he rotated the head his Burning Gundam toward his friend's Gundam Maxter. "Thankfully, they are currently distracted. Rocky and Bullwinkle were currently performing a hilarious puppet show for many children in a village nearby. And Mickey, Donald, and Goofy have been performing an outdoor vaudeville show for the adults of that same village."
"Let's not forget all those Hanna-Barbara cartoon characters. Who are also here in support of these people, especially with what occurred this Tuesday."
"I know," replied Domon dolorously. "These people are going to need all the help they can get to recover from this natural catastrophe."
"Yeah, I know what you mean. This is just enough for at least three days." Suddenly, both Shuffle Alliance members look to their right as they saw Dragon Gundam approaching.
"Hey, guys!" Called Sai Saichi, as he prepared to land near his two companions. "I've just heard some news from Spyro and Cynder!" He makes a perfect landing next to his friends and the large stacks of supplies.
"Well, what they did they say, Sai Saichi?" Asked Domon.
"They just rescued fifteen survivors from a collapsed building with help from the Autobots and many other dragons." At this both the Neo-American and Neo-Japanese Gundam Fighters cheered with great joy. Then Sai Saichi continued,
"And they now tell me that they have volunteered to escort those living within the area near our current position."
"Anyone else accompanying them?" asked Chipodee curiously. Sai Saichi replied,
"Yeah, Sparx, Terrador, Volteer, Cyril, and a new female fire guardian are coming also."
"Hey, I heard about her," pondered Chipodee.
"Okay, guys," kindly interrupted Domon. "We can discuss this later. In the meantime, let's prepare these crates of supplies so that they can be properly opened and passed out when the Haitian victims arrive. George, Argo, Rain and Allenby, should be arriving shortly to assist us."
Later, as they continued unloading supplies throughout the duration of an hour, four others from their dimension came to assist them: George de Sand, Argo, Rain, and Allenby. By the time Spyro, his mate Cynder, Sparx and the other guardians came escorting a large group of Haitians following them, Domon and the others were ready. The next hour or two was spent passing out supplies out the Haitians who desperately needed it.
[8:05 p.m., out at sea, on the flight deck of the super-carrier USS Ronald Reagan]
"We sure did good, today, didn't we Spyro?" Cynder tenderly commented to her mate as they lovingly sat beside each other on the flight deck, gazing out toward the wondrous night sky.
"Indeed, Cynder," replied Spyro gently to his mate. "I'm quite anxious to offer any assistance needed in Haiti tomorrow."
"I know. There is still much to be done to ensure that all those desperate Haitians are properly feed and comforted from the losses they have suffered."
"And I am most glad that you are here to share this compassionate action with me, beloved Cynder." Both the dragons gaze upon each other's faces lovingly.
"Thank you, Spyro," whispered Cynder tenderly. And with that, they both intimately locked their lips together in a deep, passionate kiss.
"I love you, Spyro," stated Cynder lovingly to her purple mate, after they broke away.
"And I'll never stop loving you, Cynder," Spyro replied intimately. After a moment of looking upon each other lovingly, they heard a call from behind them.
"Yo, Spyro! Cynder!" As they turned, they saw Chief Master Sergeant Epps approaching them until he eventually stopped in front of them. "It's getting late. Let's get inside for a little shut eye. We got a long day ahead of us tomorrow."
"Sure thing, Epps," replied Spyro, for which he and his graceful mate rose up and began following Epps toward one of the super-carrier's elevators.
"Say, where's your glowing friend, Sparx," asked Epps.
"He said he didn't feel well," Cynder replied concernfully, "So he decided to go to the infirmary. Ratchet assumes that he had a stomach virus."
"Well," stated Epps. "I guess he does deserve a day off or two, considering how many survivors he and you two love birds helped in locating them. I mean the poor guy must be all tuckered out!"
"Just don't let him over-sleep," jocundly exclaimed Spyro.
"Of course, Spyro," smiled Epps. Then all three exploded with heartily laughter as they prepared for dormancy, eager for another day of helping and assisting the many victims that suffered the major Haitian earthquake.
