[Seventeen minutes have passed since Sebastian landed on the window sill he's currently positioned on.  Throughout that time, he paced back and forth rather impatiently.]
SEBASTIAN: (mentally) Where are she?  I don't recall it taking dis long to capture a kidnapper.  I hope Spawcks is okee. (sighs) It seems that I'm always getting' meself in trouble all the time, mawn, even if it's somewhere away from my home.  What if…what if they nevah find can me?  What if--(aloud) AAHH!
[He was interrupted when the window door flung open, sending Sebastian hurling downward.  After tumbling in the air for a few seconds, Sebastian landed in something that smelled odious and wretched.  What he landed in was a garbage can half-way filled with rotten food scraps and other things not worth mentioning in this story.  Sebastian then suddenly heard three voices speaking with each other.]
VOICE #1: What was that?  Did you hear something?
VOICE #2: I don't think so, Lloyd.  There's hardly anyone who would hang out here, man.
LLOYD: Which is exactly why we are hiding here, stupid! (smacks Voice #2) For once Kesey comes back with that glowing pest belonging to the purple dragon and his black mate, we'll be able to use him as our hostage to capture them.  It's part of the Drats' plan to get revenge on the dragons after all, Benny!
[Kesey of course is the one who kidnapped Sparx and poisoned himself.  Sebastian gasped slightly upon hearing this, not realizing how vital the information would be to Spyro, Cynder, and the other Guardians.]
BENNY: Yeah, but it's been such a long time since we heard from him and I highly doubt he'll show after waiting this long.  You know how forgetful he is at remembering meeting places.
LLOYD: Would you just--hey, what's Kenny doing?
[At this, Sebastian's legs started shivering with fright before he immediately stops them with his claws.  Suddenly, the garbage can Sebastian is inhabited is violently knocked over, sending him rolling on the floor until he stopped prostrate on the floor.  As Sebastian quickly got up, he heard the voices speaking again.]
KENNY: OH!  Food!  Food! (laughs)
SEBASTIAN: (gasps)
[Sebastian does his best to flee toward the alley entrance ahead at his fastest pace.  He suddenly finds himself raised up into the air by Kenny wretched left claw.  The crab gasped again up what he saw.  He observed that Kenny, along with Lloyd and Benny, had the physical appearances of rats, including their heinous looks on their faces and their hideous tails, but they also had the wings of a dragon.  Sebastian also observed they were standing up-right and were as tall as Spyro and Cynder's current height.  The little red crab was squirming to free himself as Kenny continued holding him in his dirty clutches with a ravenous look on his visage.  This considerably frightened Sebastian.]
SEBASTIAN: (frantically) Hey!  Lemme go, mawn!  Somebody help me!  Spyro!  Cyndah!  Help!!!
[As the little red crab progressed ranting and screaming, Kenny, with his mouth open, prepared to devour Sebastian when Lloyd suddenly smacked him right on the side of his head.  He immediately snatched up Sebastian as he spoke rudely.]
LLOYD: Kenny you stupid and ravenous bozo!  Don't you know that this little squirt could possibly know Spyro and Cynder personally?!  He could be of good use to the Drats' cause.
[Sebastian's eyes widened before he facially portrayed a look of worry and suspicion simultaneously.]
SEBASTIAN: What do you want with them?
[Lloyd brought Sebastian up close to his face and starred at him fiercely (much to the little red crab's terror).]
LLOYD: You keep your big yapper shut and listen.  We're goin' to take ya to see Caligula, see?  And then from there our plan to take revenge on the dragons for--AH!
[Sebastian urgently pinched his claws onto Lloyd's nose, thus causing him to drop the crab and grab to that part of his snout.  Benny and Kenny rushed to Lloyd's side in response to the latter's yelp of pain.  Lloyd then snarled loudly in anger, sequentially looked down at the terrified and petrified Sebastian.]
LLOYD: (furious) That's it!  I'll skewer that little red thing's throat!
[Lloyd then took out a sharp and dangerous dagger, much to Sebastian's horror.  Benny grabbed onto Lloyd's shoulder.]
BENNY: But I thought you said we need take this one to Caligula.
[Lloyd furiously pushes Benny aside furiously.]
LLOYD: Shut your trap!  I don't care zilch what Caligula says now!  This miserable creature has angered me and I won't be satisfied until I've ended his life!
[As Lloyd acrimoniously shouted this, he raised his knife in a position that frightened Sebastian to the point that he covered his face with his crab claws and closed his eyes.  Just as Lloyd was about to strike a blow with his knife, he heard a shout from his left.]
KANE: (defiantly) Wanna bet!
[All three Drats suddenly turned to their left to see Kane, the leader of the Atwala tribe, standing at the entrance of the alley way.  They noticed that the sunlight shined brightly behind him while he positioned his left arm against his waist with his right hand holding something.  Sebastian remained steadfast in his position.]
KANE: Why don't ya pick on somebody your own size, ya filthy drats?!
[At this Lloyd took one step forward, intense anger indicated on his ugly and dirty visage.]
LLYOD: Why don't you stay of our business, Llama boy?!  This has nothin' to do with you!
[Kane laughed loudly.]
KANE: It does now!  After all, I really don't appreciate innocent little guys like him being ruthlessly pummeled and slaughtered by such miserable, filthy, flea-infested, sewer-drenched drats like you!
BENNY: (enraged) That's it!  I've had it with this insolent interloper!
LLOYD: (enraged) Let's kill him!  Come on, fellahs!
[All three drats charged at Kane with their daggers drawn and ready to gut the elder Atwalan.  Kane just smiled cockily.]
[Sebastian, remained positioned where he was with his eyes closed.  For a minute, he heard strange and loud noises, which included shouting, yelling, grunting, punching, kicking, pummeling and bones crunching.  It all ended when he heard three consecutive thuds near him before sequentially hearing Kane's approaching steps, which eventually stopped seconds later.]
KANE: Hey, are you alright, crab cakes?  'Cause I want to tell ya that I just gave those Drats a good whooping!  They won't disturb you anymore.
[Sebastian didn't change his position.]
SEBASTIAN: (mentally) Nevah!  I don't even know him personally.
KANE: (impatiently) Hey come on!  Open your eyes already, will ya?!
[For some reason, Sebastian, to his surprise, complied, thus lifting up his crab claws from his face and opened his eyes.  The little red crab directed his gaze upward until he gazed up at Kane, who was standing in front of him.]
KANE: Well, it's about time.  So anyway, what's your name, little one?
[As Kane asked this, he bended over slightly down toward Sebastian.  The little red crab, shivering slightly, hesitated for a second before he replied.]
SEBASTIAN: (slowly) Um…it's S-Sebastian.  And who ah you?
KANE: Well, if you must know, the name's Kane. (mentally) Hmm.  Sebastian…that certainly is an odd name for little, talking crustacean like him.
[The Atwalan Leader then observed Sebastian looking to his left as the latter sequentially gasped at what he saw: the three Drats, Lloyd, Benny, and Kenny, were all laying on the floor with severe blows all over their furry bodies from Kane (who didn't have a scratch on his body).  Sebastian returned his gaze back up to Kane's face.]
SEBASTIAN: Wha…what exactly happened to them?
KANE: (sighs) If you must know, I saved you from those three awful and disgusting Drats!  I mean those creeps almost did you in a moment ago.  Anyway, just how did you end up here?
[While stating this, Kane bent down on one knee for a closer inspection of the little red crab before him.]
SEBASTIAN: Well…if you must know…to make it short I…I got separated from Spyro and Cyndah along wit…
KANE: Wait a minute!
[Sebastian jumped slightly at the intensity of Kane's declaration, as the latter then kneeled down to get a better visual of the former.]
KANE: Are you saying that you are friends with Spyro and Cynder?
SEBASTIAN: (nervously) Well…yes, I guess you con say dat.
[Kane than let out a loud laugh of delight, which startled Sebastian slightly.  Kane then stared back down at the little red crab.]
KANE: Alright, Sebastian.  What do ya say we go off and find Spyro and Cynder together?
[Sebastian then looked up at Kane surprisingly.]
SEBASTIAN: You'd do dat for me, mawn?
KANE: Of course!  I was just on my way to their high-rise pavilion anyway.
[Kane then lowered an arm with an open palm in front of Sebastian.]
KANE: Come on up, Sebastian.  I'll take you along with me.  Perhaps we'll run into our friends Spyro and Cynder along the way over.
SEBASTIAN: (nervously) Well, okay.
[Sebastian crawls up onto Kane's palm, who then positions it to his right shoulder.  After Sebastian crawled onto Kane's right shoulder, the latter rose up and then proceeded to the alley way's entrance, picking up the item he was holding a moment ago (it was undamaged).  They then both exited in to the street turned heading eastward.]
KANE: So why don't you tell me something about yourself, Sebastian?
SEBASTIAN: Okay.  Uh…But what exactly?
KANE: Well I don't know!  How about telling me how you came here to Warfang?
SEBASTIAN: But…that will take a long time to tell you.
KANE: Hey, I don't mind.  Besides, it's a long walk to Spyro and Cynder's home abode. (mentally) Perhaps we'll stop somewhere on the way to clean him to--he smells like garbage.
SEBASTIAN: Alright.  Well…it all began when I was…
[Thus began Sebastian's narrative of how he came here as of two days ago.  By this time, Kane had advanced at least twenty feet away from the alley way entrance he exited from.  The visual shifts to that same entrance where sounds of metal clanging and shifting of feet where heard in the darkness of the alley way.]
VOICE #1: (Puerto Rican accent) Looks like these three all got pummeled real bad, huh boss?
VOICE #2: (softly) Yeah.  No doubt the guy who did this to 'em was an Atwalan. (sniffs) I can tell that it was him.  Now come on and let's bring deez bozos back under ground.  I'm sure Caligula will be very interested in hearing what they have to say.
VOICE #1: No doubt he'll have their throats for slit their failure, eh boss?
VOICE #2: Yeah! (snickers) Now come on, let's am-scray!
[Shifting feet were heard in the darkness followed by the sounds of grinding metal with a subsequent loud clang.]

[Forty minutes later.  Location: Market's Eastern Plaza.]
[Spyro, his life-mate Cynder, Sparx, and Flame were all situated in sitting position in a circular manner, near the central fountain, all whom had looks of sadness on their visages.  Spyro had a wing compassionately draped over Cynder's back with their tails entwined.]
SPARX: Oh, man, we searched everywhere and still no sign of him!
SPYRO: Calm down, Sparx.
SPARX: How can I?!  I mean we got ourselves searching endlessly for a lost crab who doesn't even know where he is or where he's flippin' goin'.  I mean it's like searching for a moving needle in a haystack the size of Texas!  I mean he could be anywhere, man!
FLAME: I thought you didn't like him that much, Sparx?
[The glowing dragonfly instantly zoomed to toward Flame until he was hovering right in front of his face, sequentially pointing a stern finger at him in the face.  In a second though, he let his arms sag down and hung his head.]
SPARX: Oh man.  You're so right, Flame.  I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm starting to like that guy.  I mean he's probably a bigger coward than I am most of the time.  Hey, you know what?  I'm going to take another shot at finding him.  And I'm not coming back until I do!
[Sparx immediately flew off  to the eastward direction to resume searching for Sebastian, with Flame following him visually for a few moments before he returned his gaze back the dragon couple.  He noticed that Cynder was facially expressing concern and dolor.]
FLAME: Hey, come on, Cynder!  It wasn't your fault that we lost Sebastian, it was all mine to begin with.  I mean I should have been the one to have taken a hit from that arrow for his account.
SPYRO: But that would have meant losing you as well, Flame.  It would have only worsened the situation.
FLAME: (sighs) Yeah, you're right, Spyro.
[Spyro looked over to Cynder, who still maintained the same expression on her visage.  He then flexed his brows up in concern and understanding for his life-mate.]
SPYRO: Cynder?  Dear, are you alright?
[A few seconds of silence passed.]
SPYRO: Please, Cynder, you shouldn't be so melancholy, after all, it wasn't your fault that we got separated from Sebastian.
CYNDER: (sadly) I know, Spyro.  It's just that…
[The beautiful black dragoness paused as she sequentially rotated her head toward her purple beloved's, looking into his eyes.]
CYNDER: …ever since we first met him, I understood how Sebastian felt, how scared and frightened he was upon first meeting us and other dragons.  After all, I felt just as nervous when we both started living with other dragons here in Warfang, considering what many have known about me as in my past.  I mean who know's what could happen to Sebastian in a city as large as…
[Cynder was cut off by Spyro's lips, which became locked onto hers in a passionate and loving kiss.  After she closed her eyes, they remained that way most beautifully for at least thirty seconds before they separated slowly.]
SPYRO: Don't worry, my love…we'll find Sebastian.  And I know how you felt when we started living together here in Warfang, which was I understood him as well, my dear.  We'll find him, Cynder, I promise.
[Cynder then smiled while facially expressing joy for the dragon she love in front of her.  Spyro's words utterly encouraged her in their task of searching their little red friend.]
CYNDER: (softly) Thank you, Spyro.
SPYRO: (softly) Of course, my dear.
[They spend the next few minutes gazing deep into each other's eyes lovingly.]
FLAME: OH!
[The couple, stirred by Flame's sudden exclamation, looked toward him and chuckle lightly when they saw that Blue atop of Flame (whom she furtively glomps on his right), much to the latter's slight annoyance.]
FLAME: Come on, Blue!  Me too?
BLUE: (giggles) Yes, you too, Flame. (giggles)
[The beautiful blue dragoness rose up and got herself off of Flame before she looked in the direction of Spyro and Cynder while positioning herself in a comfortable manner.]
CYNDER: You certainly cheered up rather fast, Blue.
HAZEL: Indeed she has, Cynder. (lightly cackles)
[Hazel walked slowly towards the dragons huddled together, eventually stopping alongside Blue's right.  She gazed at all the dragons within the semi-circle.]
HAZEL: Blue felt greatly stressed when she returned to my shop a while ago.
[Blue facially expressed sorrow and grief.]

FLASHBACK

[The front of Hazel's Shop.  Blue had just landed in front of Hazel with a look of deep sorrow on her visage.]
BLUE: Where's Hunter?
HAZEL: He went off to Spyro and Cynder's residence to deliver the seaweed there, which shouldn't take long, considering his incredible speed.  Now what's wrong, dear?
[Blue was hanging her head with melancholy. Hazel knelt down on one knee and brought lifted Blue's face with one forearm, thus revealing the latter's eyes filled with wet shiny tears.  After a few seconds of silence, Blue lurched forward suddenly to hug the elder cheetah with her forearms as she began sobbing loudly and furiously.  Hazel responded by wrapping her arms gently and sympathetically around Blue.]
HAZEL: (softly) There, there, dear.
HAZEL (VOICE): She told me of what happened to Sebastian when you all were pursuing Sparx' kidnapper and spoke severe regret for not staying with him where he fell.  I've never seen her feeling so doleful in many months.

FLASHBACK ENDS

HAZEL: I've managed to encourage her not to give up hope in the search for Sebastian.
FLAME: Speaking of which, does anyone have any idea how Sebastian was suddenly thrown onto my back?
[The other four present suddenly exchanged questionable looks before Spyro gasped slightly.  His beloved and the others shifted their sight toward him suddenly.]
CYNDER: What is it, Spyro?
SPYRO: I think I realized who it was…but I can't understand why.
[Blue suddenly arose from her position and onto her feet.]
BLUE: So who was it, Spyro?
SPYRO: I suspect that it was Hunter.
FLAME: But…why would he do that?
HAZEL: I think I know why, Flame.
[All eyes became fixed on the elderly green feline.]
HAZEL: Before he left, Hunter told me that the reason he threw Sebastian onto Flame was because he didn't want the little fellow to feel left behind because Prowlus informed him that it was you two, Spyro and Cynder, who saved him from descending to his death.  Thus he felt that he could trust you two beloveds to continue looking after him while pursuing Sparx' kidnappers (sighs regretfully) but I don't think he would have expected the little fellow to become lost like this.
FLAME: So it was Hunter's fault?
SPYRO: I don't think so Flame.  I mean Hunter was only doing what he felt was the right thing and never intended on any harm on Sebastian.
CYNDER: My mate's right, Flame.  And besides, the one you really have to blame is that strange creature that nearly killed him in the first place.
FLAME: Good point there.
HAZEL: I would like to stay and chat with you youngsters, but I've got to return to my shop before some funny hooligan tries to steal anything from it.  And good luck with finding Sebastian.
[The elder green cheetah then turned around and darted away in that direction.  Nearly all the dragons' eyes widened with surprise.]
BLUE: Wow!  I never knew someone that old would still be that agile!
CYNDER: Neither did I.
SPYRO: Nor I.
FLAME: That makes four of us?
BLUE: By the way, where's Glacier been?  Shouldn't he have returned from bringing that…that hideous creature to the Guardians so that they could inspect it?
[Blue utterly shuddered in disgust when she mentioned the Drat who attempted to kidnap Sparx.  She still had deep resentment for it, not realizing the Drat was known as Kesey by his fellow comrades.]
SPYRO: That's true, Blue, but the Guardians have many duties and it may take some time before they have any results of the creature's identity.
GLACIER: Hey, guys!
[All four looked up and watched Glacier landing near them while lightly holding a peculiar item with one of his forearms.  He then limped over to the beloveds, Spyro and Cynder, on three legs while they looked at the object he was carrying curiously.]
CYNDER: What is that you got there, Glacier?
GLACIER: It's something Kindle requested me to give you and for Sebastian to use.
[As Glacier spoke, he gave Spyro the object as he sequentially inspected it while listening to the former.  The young ice dragon then positioned on Flame's left side and laid flat on his stomach.]
FLAME: So what are they, Glacier?
GLACIER: Small earmuffs.  Kindle said that Sebastian could use it to cover his ears when he's a sleep at night.
CYNDER: (giggles, to Spyro) I guess we should have thought about that before bringing him home, dear.
SPYRO: (chuckles, to Cynder) Indeed, Cynder, we really should have, considering how intimate we are together in bed most every night. (to Glacier) Thank you very much for these earmuffs, Glacier.
GLACIER: Hey, if there's someone you should really thank for that, it's Kindle.  She's really been caring for both of you very much.
SPYRO: (chuckles) Indeed.  I think we should be all be grateful that we have Kindle as Fire Guardian and what she has done for all of us.
CYNDER: Indeed, darling.
FLAME: Absolutely!
[All others present nodded in agreement.  Flame then bent his neck and head in Glacier's direction.]
FLAME: Glacier, have the Guardians said anything about the creature that kidnapped Sparx?
GLACIER: Well, when I presented the carcass to them and told them about what happened, the Guardians were initially surprised.  Volteer then gave me a lot of information about, including that the creature was called a Drat, which was the only thing I understood since he spoke with hyper-speed about everything else.  Kindle of course promised that she and the other Guardians would look into the matter.
FLAME: Well, at least now know that thing was.
BLUE: Why should that matter now?  We should be glad that Drat's dead after what he nearly did to Sparx and Sebastian!
SPYRO: But Blue, we've only just seen it today and don't know anything more about it.  The Guardians could actually help us learn more information on it.
CYNDER: And we also don't if there are others like it hiding within Warfang, not to mention that it will help us be better prepared for them whenever we encounter them.
BLUE: (hangs her head, sighs) I guess you're both right on that.  I'm sorry.
FLAME: Hey, we understand you, Blue.  I mean we're all just as upset with that Drat just as you are, especially with what he nearly did to Sebastian and Sparx.  Heck, we'd probably rip that hombre to shreds if he simply hadn't--
LOUD, GROUCHY VOICE: HEY!
[All five dragons yelped and jumped up from where they sat, surprise present on their reptilian visages as the voice seemed echoed from afar.]
LOUD, GROUCHY VOICE: WOULD YOU KIDS KEEP IT DOWN!  I'M NAPPIN' OVER HERE!
[As all five dragons present were panting from the brief moment of fright, both Flame and Blue scowled softly.]
FLAME: (irritated, shouting) Alright, alright already!  You didn't have to shout so loudly! (mumbles) What a grouchy, old geezer…
[Flame was interrupted by sounds of uncontrollable and hilarious laughter that seemed to echo throughout entire plaza.]
SKYE: (laughing) Oh, I just can't believe that you guys fell for that one!  You never even saw it coming!
BLUE: Very funny, Skye!  Now could you show us where you are and come down?  I want to know if you've found Sebastian yet!
SKYE: Hang on just a sec!
[The four dragons below waited a few more seconds as they heard sounds of grunting.  They suddenly jumped frightfully again a large ram carcass (it was half the size of Spyro's body) landed in front of all five of the dragons which was followed by another one.  They then saw Skye jumping off a building behind Spyro and Cynder, sequentially landed on his feet and then approached the group smiling.]
SKYE: I managed to get some food for all of us during my search for Sebastian.  And did I scare any of you?
BLUE: You certainly did, Skye. (giggles)
[Skye stopped right next to Glacier and sat down on his haunches as he and his friends joined in of Blue's giggling which lasted for a few seconds.]
SPYRO: Any sign of Sebastian, Skye?
[Skye sadly shook his head in response.]
SKYE: I'm afraid not, Spyro.  I looked in every nook and cranny throughout Warfang and couldn't find him anywhere.
FLAME: (sighs) Well, hopefully Sparx may have more luck in finding him.
SPYRO, CYNDER: Indeed, Flame.
SKYE: So what happened while I was gone?
SPYRO: Well…

[Meanwhile…]
[Both Sebastian and Kane had stopped at a four-way intersection as the latter was currently devouring a grass sandwich for lunch while the former was still placed on his shoulder.  Sebastian had already finished his explanation several minutes ago, which took some time to complete and he presently had a nervous look on his crabby visage.  During the conversation, Kane was listening attentively to everything the red crab described.  Sebastian then looked toward Kane's head.]
SEBASTIAN: So what do ya dink?  Do you suppose there's any hope of me comin' back to my home?
KANE: (chuckles) Well, I'd hate to disappoint you, but I wouldn't know precisely on account that I don't know bupkis about going from one world into another.  But if there's one thing I do know, Sebastian, it's this: anything is possible.  It's that simple.
SEBASTIAN: Are you sure?
KANE: Of course I'm sure!  I mean come on!  Just look at Spyro and Cynder--they were able to do something that seemed utterly impossible: they defeated the Dark Master and saved the world from destruction he caused.
SEBASTIAN: (exhales peacefully) Thank goodness, I thought that--huh?  You mean to tell me that Spyro and his mate Cyndah have actually saved the world?  Does dat mean dey'ah heroes?!?!?!
KANE: Well what do ya think?   Of course they are, Sebastian.  I owe my life to them for the wonderful things they've done.
[Kain then resumed devouring his sandwich as Sebastian was left with new thoughts about the gorgeous couple he befriended only two days ago.]
SEBASTIAN: (mentally) Oh, this is so confusin'!  I nevah knew dat Spyro and his mate Cyndah were heroes before dey saved me!  I mean not just heroes--but ones who saved the world togedah!  Man, this is absolutely too crazy to actually believe!  I mean how is it that--
[The little red crab's thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of feet shuffling and shouts of terror nearby.]
VOICE #1: Help!  Help!
VOICE #2: Run for your lives!
[Sebastian jumped slightly as he and Kane watched two extremely terrified juvenile dragons come running out of the path to the right, who both continued down left path of the intersection while screaming frightfully.  Sebastian then found himself trembling horrendously as he sequentially looked over to Kane's head, (the elder Atwalan had fully devoured his sandwich by now).]
SEBASTIAN: W-w-what was dat all about, Kane?
KANE: Who knows, Sebastian.
[They both looked to their left as Sebastian gasped at what was seen: further down the road, everything seemed empty and the structures were in a state of decay.  But what seemed to have frightened Sebastian about this though were all the black mists that lingered densely throughout the entire area.]
KANE: One thing I can tell ya though is that it looks quite spooky over there.  I mean who knows what kind of monstrous freaks live there, possibly something worse than those filthy drats.  It seems to be quite a mystery.
OLD VOICE: It's not as mysterious as you think, Kane.
[Instantly Kane and Sebastian (who jumped slightly) looked in the forward direction when they heard the voice speaking and saw before them an elderly, medium-sized red fire dragon who had a blue underbelly and tail blade, black wing membranes, white horns, and brown eyes.  As the fire dragon approached them slowly Sebastian facially expressed nervousness while Kane smiled greatly.]
KANE: Hey there, Michbellus.  How's life in Warfang?
MICHBELLUS: Nothing special, Kane, except the usually daily routine of upholding the law and fighting crime in the dragon city.  Hey, who's that on your shoulder, Kane?
[By the time Michbellus finished asking this question, he had already stopped a foot in front of both Kane and Sebastian.]
KANE: This little guy here is named Sebastian, Michbellus.  I'm currently helping him find his friends, Spyro and Cynder.
[The old fire dragon turns his gaze toward the nervous red crab and gave him a friendly facial expression.]
MICHBELLUS: Hello there, Sebastian.  It's pleasure to meet you.
[Michbellus lifts his right forepaw and extends one of his digits to Sebastian, who was quickly observing the kindness displayed on the former's facial features.  The little red crab then nervously extends one claw out and grabs it onto the talon of the fire dragon.]
SEBASTIAN: It's nice to meet you too, Michbellus.
[Sebastian then releases his grip as Michbellus the motions his forearm back down.]
MICHBELLUS: Kane here has told me that you both have been searching for Spyro and Cynder.  So if you don't mind, I'd be glad to help you find them.
[Sebastian's eyes widened with delight upon hearing those words.]
SEBASTIAN: That would be nice, thank you.  I really appreciate it, man.
KANE: Well, I guess that's settled then!  So where shall we head to next; straight ahead?
MICHBELLUS: Actually we should head over this way.
[As Michbellus spoke, he pointed to the lane that went down his right.  Sebastian and Kane look to where Michbellus pointed as the elder Atwalan sequentially sighs sulkily and shrugs.]
KANE: Fine by me.
[Then as Kane picked up his small gift box with his right hand, Michbellus rotates his body until he faced directly toward the path he indicated, with Kane following suit.  As they start down their chosen path, Sebastian looks over to Michbellus curiosity and slight fright.]
SEBASTIAN: Um, pardon me, Michbellus.
MECHIBELLUS: Yes, Sebastian.
SEBASTIAN: Uh, could you tell me w-what's d-d-down the other path behind us?
[By this time, both Michbellus and Kane had progressed only a few steps when they suddenly stop and turn the gaze back toward the opposite path.  A second later, Michbellus looks toward Sebastian while Kane gazes at the elder fire dragon.  Sebastian observed that the expressions Michbellus had on his visage were more serious and grim then the joyous ones he had a minute or two ago.]
MICHBELLUS: Do you really want to know?
[Sebastian gave a very hesitant nod to the elder fire dragon.]
MICHBELLUS: That path behind leads into an old and very impoverished district of Warfang called Azkaban, located within the middle southern region of the city.  And let me tell you something--you don't want yourself caught venturing through or even inhabiting it if you know what's good for you.
KANE: Why's that, Mike?
[The trio then resume walking down their designated pathway as the conversation continued.]
MICHBELLUS: It's because Azkaban is an extremely dangerous part of the city that's filled with a few small gangs of dragons that ruthlessly patrol it.  In addition, many witnesses who have been there have often claimed that it is horrendously haunted.
SEBASTIAN: (gasps) H-h-haunted?!
MICHBELLUS: Yes, Sebastian.  And that's all the information I will tell you about Azkaban, Sebastian…for there is more information about the area that you're not ready to learn about yet.  And I would strongly insist that you do not ask Spyro or his mate Cynder about this matter.  Understood?
SEBASTIAN: (slightly frightened) Y-yes, Michbellus!  I promise!
MICHBELLUS: That's good to hear.
[Michbellus' composure then shifted into a more pleasant expression, much to Sebastian's surprise.]
MICHBELLUS: So who was with you besides Spyro and Cynder, Sebastian?
[Sebastian looks upward as he shifts his arms and claws into a certain position to think reminisce who accompanied him, Spyro, and Cynder today.  Within seconds, Sebastian gasps with delight as he repositions his upper extremities in a casual position and looked in the direction of Michbellus.]
SEBASTIAN: I remember meeting four other dragons today!  And dey were known as Skye, Blue, Glacier, and Flame.
MICHBELLUS: You mean my grandnephew, Flame?
SEBASTIAN: Yes!  He was calad red and--what?  Did you say that Flame was your grandnephew?
MICHBELLUS: Indeed I did, Sebastian.  Flame is my wonderful grandnephew and I love him dearly.  And I'm quite familiar with the other three young dragons you mentioned as well, who just happen to be friends of his.
KANE: (mentally) Especially Skye.  I swear that green air-head is worth more trouble than I can handle.  I can barely stand his outrageous antics and pranks!
MICHBELLUS: …and they're also very good friends with Spyro and Cynder as you have already observed.
SEBASTIAN: Spawx was also with us todee.
KANE: (mentally) I remember that glowing mosquito too well.
MICHBELLUS: Well, I hope you didn't get into too much conflict with him, because most of the things he says can be quite outrageous.
[Sebastian nods in agreement with Michbellus' statement.]
SEBASTIAN: Do you dink dey'll be lookin' for me?
KANE: Nah!  I don't think those filthy drats will ever pursue you after the whooping I gave them.
MICHBELLUS: I think Sebastian was referring to Spyro and Cynder, Kane.
KANE: Oh, yeah. (clears throat) Well, in that case, Sebastian, I can tell you that they'll definitely be looking for you right now.
SEBASTIAN: Really?
MICHBELLUS: Of course, Sebastian.  For if I know Spyro, Cynder, my grandnephew, and their other friends, they are very persistent and ever faithful it comes selflessly aiding others in great need.  Just have faith in them Sebastian…you'll reunite with them when they come find you.
KANE: Or if we find them.
MICHBELLUS: (chuckles) Indeed, Kane.
[Then Michbellus curiously fixes his gaze at the small box that Kane was carrying in his right hand.]
MICHBELLUS: May I ask what contents are inside small box you're holding?
KANE: (sarcastically) So sue me if it's contraband! (chuckles lightly) Just kiddin' ya.  It's actually a little gift I brought for Spyro and Cynder.  It's my way of thanking those two love birds for helping my tribe in rescuing one of our younglings and a lot more.
[Michbellus' initial facial reaction to Kane's sarcastic "contraband" response was filled slight contempt and suspicion, but those emotions quickly melted into ones of joy and delight when the elder Atwalan spoke truthfully on the subject.]
MICHBELLUS: That sure is sweet of you to do that, Kane.  So what is exactly you're giving them?
KANE: Well, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if I told ya, now would it? (chuckles lightly)
MICHBELLUS: (chuckles lightly) True, true.
KANE: What I am worried about is if they'll like it or not.
MICHBELLUS: I'm sure they will, Kane.
KANE: I hope so.
MICHBELLUS: Hey, Sebastian, while we're searching for your friends Spyro, Cynder, and their companions, would you please tell us how you came here in this realm?
KANE: (mentally) Oh, boy.  Here we go again.
SEBASTIAN: (hesitantly) O-okay.  Oh, where to begin. (sighs) Well, it started when…
[And so for the next few minutes, Sebastian retold the events that occurred throughout the previous two days as Michbellus listened attentively and observantly.  Kane, who had already heard the red crab's tale once, found this slightly monotonous to have it repeated.  Several minutes passed as Sebastian progressed in narrating his story to Kane and Michbellus when unbeknownst to them the diminutive glowing form of Sparx moderately flew over them.]

[Back at the Market's Eastern Plaza…]
[Spyro, his mate Cynder, and their four companions had spent the next few minutes devouring their lunch while explaining to Skye what had occurred while he was absent.  Now they were discussing what to do next in finding Sebastian when they were suddenly interrupted upon hearing from the northern direction a loud and distant thundering sound.  All six turned their heads toward the north and saw to their dismay the sight an approaching large thunderstorm a few miles away.  They all looked back toward each other some of them had expressions of dismay on their faces until Skye stood up boldly.]
SKYE: I say we go back to searching for Sebastian throughout the city!  After all, he's our friend and we should never give up on our friends so easily!
GLACIER: What about Sparx?  Shouldn't we wait for him first before--
SPARX: (shouting) Hey, you kids!
[As he shouted urgently, Sparx zipped right into the middle of the group circle.]
SPARX: (panting) I found him!  I found Sebastian!
[Instantly, all six young dragons stood up and closed in on the little golden dragonfly and started bombarding him with questions.]
GLACIER: Wow, you did?
FLAME: Where is he?
BLUE: Is he alright?  Is he safe?
CYNDER: Who was he with?
SPARX: Alright, alright, enough!!!!  Quite boxing me in, alright?!  Sheesh!  Give a guy some breathing room once in a while!
[All six dragons backed up a few steps as Sparx demanded for more space.  He then fixed on his gaze and Spyro and his life-mate Cynder.]
SPARX: Okay, to answer all your questions, yes, the crab is safe he's doing okey-dokey and all that.  And he's not alone.  I saw two other guys with him. One was a fire dragon and the other was one of those…Llama people.
SPYRO: Atwalans, Sparx.
SPARX: Whatever.
SKYE: What did this fire dragon look like?
SPARX: Well, he was red and--wait!  It'd be better if I showed you guys.  Come on follow me!
[Sparx then flew off in the western direction and the other six dragons ascended into the air and followed him.]

[Meanwhile, Sebastian and his two present companions were still strolling down their designated path as he had managed to finish his narrative to them.  Within the narrative included Sebastian's encounter with the Drat and how Kane saved him.]
MICHBELLUS: Phew.  That must be awefully frightful of you to have such scoundrals gang up on your like that.
SEBASTIAN: You're tellin' me, man.  If it hadn't been for Kane, they would have ripped me limb from limb.
KANE: You were lucky that I happened to show up at the right time, Sebastian.
MICHBELLUS: Indeed, Kane.  And now I assume you'll be going to the Guardians tomorrow to discuss your temporary vocation, correct?
SEBASTIAN: Yes…at least until dey somehow find a wee to get me back home.
MICHBELLUS: Well, hopefully they'll give you something that you can manage successfully without hurting yourself.
SEBASTIAN: What do you mean?
[As Kane sequentially spoke, they entered an empty yet vast, circular area which also contain intersections of two different city streets.]
KANE: This is a big city, Sebastian.  Without someone like those two lovebirds, Spyro and Cynder, or one of the adult dragons living here like the Guardians, you could either get lost or worse--get yourself hurt or killed!
SEBASTIAN: (nervously) Yeah, I know, man.  And to be honest, I'm scared of talking to Terradoh when I go to Guardians again tomorrow.
MICHBELLUS: (chuckles) Well, don't worry, Sebastian, I think you'll eventually get use to him.  After all, Terry may sound strict, but he's a very honorable dragon.  Besides, you still have Kindle to kindly support you in case you get nervous, along with Spyro, his mate Cynder, my grandnephew, and many others you'll soon befriend here.
KANE: Which means you're all set, Sebastian.
SEBASTIAN: Oh!  That's a relief. (mentally) And I certainly hope so or my name isn't--
CYNDER (voice, distant): Sebastian!
[Sebastian and Kane gasped aloud while Michbellus only smiled as these voices were heard.  All three also stopped moving and]
SEBASTIAN: Was that…
MICHBELLUS: Yep.  It seems that your friends have come for you, Sebastian.
[Michbellus then lifts his head up and blew a stream of crimson-red fire into the air.  Sebastian and Kane watched in amazement and confusion.]
SEBASTIAN: (mentally) What's 'e doin'?
KANE: Hey, what are ya doin', Michbellus?  We want them to find us, not have them scared away!
[A second later old fire dragon ceased using his elemental power and then looks toward Kane chuckling for a moment.]
MICHBELLUS: It's supposed to signal them of our current location, Kane.
KANE: Oh, well that makes sense.  Hey look!  Here they come!
[Sure enough, Spyro, his mate Cynder, Sparx, and the other four young dragons accompanying them descended slowly until they landed right in front of Michbellus, Kane, and Sebastian.  Sebastian's eyes widened with excitement as he recognized Spyro and Cynder, who stood closest to him and Kane.   Flame then rapidly approached Michbellus.]
FLAME: Granduncle!
MICHBELLUS: Hey there, my dear grandnephew!
[They both embraced and nuzzled each other warmly.  During the touching moment, Kane, motioned his left hand in front of Sebastian.]
KANE: Psst!
SEBASTIAN: Eh?
[The little red crab broke out of his trance and toward Kane's face, who motioned his head forward slightly.  Understanding the message, Sebastian moved forward and positioned himself on the palm of Kane's hand as the Atwalan then positioned his right arm out forward.  Then Kane walked slowly toward the lovely couple as he smiled at them.]
KANE: It's alright, I promise that no harm has come to Sebastian, you two.  He'll be just fine.
[Kane stopped in front of the couple and stretched his hand out until it was near Spyro's forehead.  The young purple dragon then bent down his head as Sebastian leaped off Kane's hand and landed a few inches behind the dragon's neck base.  While the little red crab then positioned himself comfortably near the dragon's neck base, Spyro lifted up his head and looked at Kane gratefully.]
SPYRO: Thank you for watching Sebastian, Kane.
KANE: No problem, Spyro.  Oh!  I also have something special for both you and your mate here.
[He then lifted his right hand which held the small box he had been carrying and sequentially held it in front of Cynder.]
KANE: Be careful, it's very fragile.
[Cynder then took the gift box from Kane's hand with one forepaw as she sequentially enwrapped it around her arm.  In a second, Sparx positioned himself between Kane and Cynder.]
SPARX: So, Kane, what did you get for me, huh?  Don't I at least get a present?
KANE: (shrugs) Sorry, Sparky, but I didn't bring anything for you.
SPARX: (frustrated) Ah, why not?!  I have followed and stood alongside with these two heroes and yet I'm still not rewarded anything for it.
SKYE: (murmered) Well, all you basically did was randomly blurt out anything that came out of that small mouth of yours.
SPARX: I heard that, Skye!
[Everyone, except for Sebastian, burst out laughing in response to golden dragonfly's fuming attitude while he pouted sourly.  The joyous moment was interrupted by the sound of loud thunder from the northern direction.  Immediately, Sebastian shrieked loudly as he then closed his eyes and tightened his grip around Spyro's neck while Sparx, Kane, and the other dragons looked northward and saw the same approaching storm that now resembled great, grey anvil reaching many miles high with lightning flickering inside it.  All were astounded with how immense the storm had quickly become in size.]
MICHBELLUS: That storm is approaching awfully fast. (sighs, to Spyro) Spyro, I've observed that Sebastian has had it pretty rough today.  So I think it would be wise if you, your mate and Sparx took him back to your domicile to stay there for the rest of the day.
SPYRO: Of course, Michbellus.
[Then everybody present then bid each other a fond farewell and departed in different ways: Michbellus and Flame left with Glacier to the Temple after the latter informed them that the Guardians needed to speak with them.  Skye escorted Kane to the hotel he was temporarily residing in Warfang (much the Atwalan's dismay and discouragement).  Those remaining headed in the direction of Spyro and Cynder's high-rise residence.]

[Some minutes later, Spyro, his mate Cynder, Sparx, Sebastian, and Blue had arrived at the high-rise pavilion, with excellent timing, for the storm was fast approaching and already covered the upper half of the Dragon City.  As they entered the door entry, the first thing they observed both a bucket full of wet seaweed and a small note in front of it.  Cynder helped Sebastian off of her mate's neck, letting Spyro then sequentially place Kane's gift down somewhere.  Blue approached where the note laid and then picked it up with one forepaw, sequentially turning toward her friends.]
BLUE: Hey, look at this!
[They all approached Blue until Spyro and Sparx positioned themselves stood on her left with Cynder and Sebastian on the blue dragoness's right.  She then read aloud the message on the note.]
BLUE: "Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, and Sebastian: I have brought you the bucket seaweed Sebastian needed from Hazel and she has told me that it should be enough to last for a few weeks at least.  She has also told me that you should be careful to ensure that you do not spill the salt water that is also inside the bucket.  And if you are present, Sebastian, I would like to apologize for my actions in throwing you onto Flame's back earlier.  For you see, I did that on account that I did not want you to become separated from your companions, especially Spyro and Cynder, while rescuing Sparx from his kidnapper (it has greatly relieved me to hear he was saved).  If I have somehow aggravated you in telling you this, Sebastian, please understand that I did not foresee that you would become separated while pursuing Sparx's kidnapper, whoever it was.  I hope you appreciate this message. Hunter.  P.S.: Good luck in finding a job for the Guardians tomorrow, Sebastian."
[As Blue read every word the cheetah warrior had written, Sebastian had a downcast expression on his face.  After Blue finished reading, she and the dragon couple were facially expressing sympathy, while Sparx only had a partly sympathetic expression on his visage.  When Blue then placed the note down on the floor, the sound of loud thunder was heard from outside, snapping everyone present into awareness about the oncoming storm.  When Sebastian heard it, he whispered a small "yipe" as his crab legs began trembling with fright for a moment.  Spyro then gazed at Blue.]
SPYRO: I think you better get back home quickly, Blue.  That storm sounds pretty dangerous and no doubt approaching fast.
BLUE: Okay, Spyro.
[The beautiful blue dragoness then bent her head down toward Sebastian and nuzzled him with her nose.]
BLUE: Goodbye, Sebastian.
[Sebastian embraced his arms around the warmth of Blue's snout in a soft hug.]
BLUE: Goodbye, Blue.
[After they separated from the warm embrace, Blue then bid a brief and yet fond farewell to Spyro, his mate Cynder, and Sparx, giving each of them a warm embrace.  She then proceeded swiftly toward the entry way, sequentially exiting the pavilion through it.  Spyro, his mate Cynder, and Sparx gazed out the northern window as they watched Blue flying back to her residence in Warfang at her fastest speed.]
CYNDER: I hope she'll make it back home in time, Spyro.
SPYRO: Fear not, dear.  I'm positive that she will.
[As Spyro reassured his mate, he nuzzled against Cynder's neck with his lovingly.  She was about to return the gesture lovingly when the moment was interrupted by the sound of tapping metal.  The couple and Sparx turned around toward Sebastian's direction near the bucket full of salt-water drenched seaweed as he sequentially spoke.]
SEBASTIAN: Um, could either you please help me?  I can't reach into the bucket for seaweed without spillin' it.
CYNDER: Sure, Sebastian.
[Cynder, her mate Spyro, and Sparx quickly proceeded toward Sebastian and his bucket of seaweed.  Cynder then dipped in one forepaw into the bucket, pulled out a piece of wet seaweed, and placed it beside Sebastian.]
CYNDER: Would this be enough for now, Sebastian?
SEBASTIAN: (nods) Yes, I suppose so.
[Sebastian then carefully picked up the piece of seaweed and begin devouring it steadily.  Sparx then hovered over to the bucket and looked down into it skeptically.]
SPARX: (whistles) You actually eat this green slop, Sebastian?
SPYRO: Sprax!  Please be respectful.
SPARX: Hey, come on, bro, I was just asking a simple question.
CYNDER: That sounded more like an insult, Sparx.
SEBASTIAN: (mentally) She's got that right, man.
SPYRO: I insist that you apologize to Sebastian, Sparx.
SPARX: (exasperated sigh) Fine. (to Sebastian) Sebastian, I'm sorry if I insulted your eating preferences and all.
[During this argument, Sebastian had already taken a second bite from his piece of seaweed and was still chewing when Sparx addressed his apology to him.  The little red crab then looked up at the golden dragonfly as he swallowed.]
SEBASTIAN: It's quite alright, Spawcks.
[The red crab was about to take his third bite when he stopped and gazed up back at Sparx with a curious look in his eyes.]
SEBASTIAN: Say, what do you usually eat, man?
SPARX: What else?  Butterflies.
[After two or three seconds, Sebastian bursts out laughing hilariously, much to the apparent disgust of Sparx, who had crossed his arms annoyingly.  Spyro and his mate Cynder just facially expressed amusement at the crab's laughter.]
SEBASTIAN: (laughing) O-oh, man!  N-never have I heard of something so ridiculous!  Dragonflies eating butterflies!
SPYRO: That's nothing, Sebastian!  You should hear how loudly my brother burps after eating a few of them!
[With that the young dragon couple joined in with Sebastian's gaiety as his laughter became louder, which annoyed Sparx even more.  But as the golden young dragonfly was about to make an angry objection when he was interrupted an intensely bright flash erupted from outside that was followed by a simultaneous loud thunder clap that seem to quake the entire room.  Many things occurred simultaneously: Spyro and his mate Cynder jumped and gasped softly, while both Sparx and Sebastian screamed loudly and immediately huddled close to the dragon couple with their bodies shivering and teeth chattering (Sparx held onto Cynder's wingbase).  Spyro then gazed at his mate as she sequentially nodded back toward him, as if she understood something he silently told her.  Sebastian fixed his eyes on Spyro who proceeded over toward the door and exited out to the balcony before looked up toward Cynder.]
SEBASTIAN: W-where's he goin' out into a storm like this?
[Cynder then looked down and gazed into Sebastian's terrified black-dot eyes with the calmness of her glistening emerald green ones.]
CYNDER: He's going outside to deflect the any lightning that may potentially hit our house--some of which could damage it severely.
SEBASTIAN: B-but how exactly can Spyro do that?
CYNDER: Because Spyro can also shoot electricity, which is one of the many incredible powers that he wields as a purple dragon.  And do not worry, Sebastian, for my mate is capable of firing electricity powerful enough to deflect any kind of lightning from this storm.  And I'm positive that he'll protect us.
[While listening to Cynder, Sebastian managed to pick up the piece of seaweed he had dropped when he was previously terrified by the lightning.  Just as the black dragoness finished speaking, another bright flash of lightning appeared from the window.  Sebastian gasps aloud at seeing this and dashes back toward Cynder, who her situated herself prostate on the floor.  As Sebastian stopped at the tips of Cynder's talons, the beautiful black dragoness enwrapped her wings protectively on him and Sparx.]
CYNDER: (whispers) Now, both of you stay close to me, for we will wait out the storm until it passes.
[The visual backs out as another flash of lightning bursts into the room.]
I'm terribly sorry for being so extremely late for this next part of Chapter 2, I've had some trerrible problems with procrastination and the like. Anyway, it seems we find out that it was a Drat that kidnapped Sparx and nearly killed Sebastian (thankfully) Kane came to his rescue. Please enjoy while I have the last part of Chapter 2 upload shortly.

I just noticed Skyes' creator just deactivated their deviantart account! That's sad. Will you still be able to keep him in your story?
