The Legend of Spyro: Visit from Under the Sea
Much has occurred throughout the one-and-a-half years since Spyro and Cynder have defeated Malefor and saved their planet from his terrible wrath. During that duration of time, both their bodies gradually grew in size to where they were three quarters of Hunter's height. In addition, Spyro and Cynder's relationship grew in ways they never imagined. Spyro eventually confessed his love for Cynder, just as she did in the previous two weeks in which they defeated Malefor, which thus began an intimately and consummately amorous and affectionate relationship between the two dragons (one that would last for the rest of their joyous lives). Then over the next four-five months Spyro and Cynder's relationship eventually blossomed to the point where they both became life mates.
It was also during this period of eighteen months that Chief Prowlus, Hunter and the other cheetahs in his tribe gave Spyro and Cynder a comfortable cave as their summer home as their token of appreciation for defeating Malefor. The moles in Warfang also showed their appreciation in building a special pavilion suited for the dragon couple to habituate in together. Spyro and Cynder would sometimes swift between domiciles at various durations of months throughout this same period of eighteen months.
As for Sparx, he found both Spyro and Cynder at least a month after the planet was saved and restored, reacting with utter joy, (it took him a few months to accept them as a loving couple). It was also during this time that Spyro sometimes mourned heavily for Ignitus' death, in which he was greatly comforted by his beloved Cynder. In the same way, it took a couple of months for some to recognize that Cynder is no longer the same monster Malefor enslaved her to be, something that traumatized her at times. Yet, Spyro also comforted and encouraged her as well not to give up hope during those moments. These moments of interdependence upon each other contributed to greatly developing Spyro and Cynder's deeply loving relationship during this time and helped to overcome their sources of grief.
As for the Guardians, Terrador, Cyril, and Volteer, who are still residing in Warfang, they did not hear from Spyro or Cynder for at least one month. When the dragon couple finally arrived at Warfang, they were greeted warmly and graciously by the Guardians and some of the city's current residents (including more dragons). Everyone in Warfang and the rest of the planet mourned for Ignitus when news of his death was revealed by Spyro and Cynder. Then after two months of searching, another fire dragon, related to Ignitus (more of that shall be revealed later), bravely accepted to take the position as Guardian of Fire. This same replacement quickly befriended Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, the other Guardians, etc.
The efforts in slowly rebuilding/repairing destroyed or damaged sections of Warfang began one month after Malefor's defeat (Spyro and Cynder also participated in this after their arrival). This included a new Dragon Temple retrofitted from a large building within the city (since the previous one was destroyed by Malefor). Within a year's time since, all repairs and reconstructions in Warfang were eventually completed.
For five months since that time, with the exception of a few minor attacks from the zombie apes, this new age of peace seemed to have progressed rather smoothly. However, little did those residing in Dragon Realms realize that they would receive an unexpected visitor from a realm different from their own: a little red, trepid and quite outrageous crab.
